"ABWHE National Conference" - Wednesday, Oct. 13th to Friday, Oct. 15th 2010
The Los Angeles Chapter is thrilled at having the opportunity to host this year's National Conference. As the newest chapter, we truly enjoyed connecting with our sisters from the East Coast, South and Midwest. We thank everyone who attended and a huge "thank you" to our keynote speakers (Sarah Culberson, Nzingha Dugas, Dr. Thema Bryant-Davis, Dr. Toni Yancey), all of our presenters and to our special guest, Congresswoman Maxine Waters.

"Summer Writing Retreat" - Saturday, August 8th, 2009
What a wonderful and uplifting summer Saturday! We had an amazing day of sisterhood and growth in our academic and personal writing. "Spirit, Space and Beyond Survival" - Saturday, April 18th, 2009
We were honored to have Dr. Thema Bryant from Pepperdine University, as our keynote. We were also excited to have counseling and wellness experts Dr. Shikana Temille Porter (Whittier College), Dr. Nicole Green (UCLA) and Dr. Lisa Hollingsworth (Holistic Wellbody Innovations).
